One of the fun things about selling my house is that I got to try my hand a real estate photography. I’m a fan! 🙂
It’s bittersweet to be leaving, but looking forward to 2018 and the new memories I’ll be making in my new house, which has room for a photography studio.
Happy New Year everyone! Thanks for sticking with me on the countdown. Looking forward to all the fabulous photos in 2018.
If you’ve been following me, you know that my dog is basically my go to subject for any photo situation that I don’t have a human available for. The image below of her “Mornings with Audrey and Scarlett” actually won the Nancy Merkling award in May at 4th Fridays at the Starline.
This year I announced a new photo project created around dancer’s and their stories. Breana agreed to let me use her images for the promotion of this new project!
Your first pair of pointe shoes. Dancers never forget that moment, and Bailee wanted to take some photos to memorialize the moment. She even toughed it out in the cold on the Monona Terrace!
Another audition, another set of headshots.
I came back from Miami, and then picked up and went off to New Orleans (PS is this my life!?). This time it was for vacation and not for work, so I really was able to get into my photography.
Next stop on my traveling bucket list for the year was Miami. Walking on the beach at sunrise…I recommend it!
What’s red, white, and life saving all over?

Nothing better then friends and family getting together to celebrate the unity of two people. Especially if those friends and family members are as fun as this bunch.
